No. We’re originally from the management team of Comfort Keepers, a provider of non-medical home care services that has been in business for more than 20 years. We created the Elite Comfort division exclusively for residents of Quebec

Home care refers to all types of care, whether medical or non-medical, that is provided to someone in his or her home.

Our services include care and support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, leisure activities and personal care, among others. We provide these services to people of every age, whether at home or in a care facility, such as a hospital, retirement home or convalescent home. Our services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with a minimum service call of 2 hours per visit (with the exception of in-home sample collection).

Anyone can benefit from home care: children, adults and seniors. Some of our clients are recovering from an illness or operation, while others have reduced mobility or a disability. Some are suffering from dementia, while others need end-of-life care. Some of our clients simply want companionship or need help with certain household chores that are too difficult for them to do themselves.

We can provide our services whenever you need them. We work by the hour, on a day-to-day basis or for full days and nights. Everything is based on your needs, which we will define with you so we can create a personalized care plan. Our care and assistance services are available 24 hours a day, and we always have someone on call in case of emergency.

We choose people who have experience and who care about the well-being of others. All of our caregivers are compassionate, professional, dedicated, resourceful and skilled.

First of all, we always try to match our clients with caregivers whose personalities are compatible with theirs. For the most part, you’ll have a continual relationship with the same individual. However, if the professional can’t come to work on a given day for any reason, we’ll assign a secure replacement.

All Elite Comfort care attendants meticulously follow the guidelines that have been established by the Board of Public Health:

• Staying home from work if they have symptoms
